Somerset is accessed via Interstate 195 which provides a direct route to Providence. Once one of America’s vital shipping points, Somerset has transitioned over the years into a scenic suburb. Historically linked to Fall River, the two areas are currently connected by the Veterans Memorial Bridge, which is the fourth bridge to be constructed over the Taunton River.
